Home Visit Services
Apart from the obvious advantages of having a home visit such as not needing to worry about how you will get to us or where you will park, having a hearing assessment at home has many other advantages.Â
Â
One such advantage is that it gives the audiologist an insight into your hearing environment and the challenges you may face which enables him to select the best technology for your unique situation and to accurately program them.

We bring along the latest assessment equipment and ensure that you are getting the best hearing technology for your unique needs and there is no pressure to purchase hearing aids. After the assessment the audiologist will discuss your results and talk to you about the potential solutions leaving the decision making to you. Â

Hearing Assessment
The WHO recommends getting your hearing checked every 1-3 years.

Your hearing assessment starts with a full hearing history. Using video otoscopy, we will check for wax and look at the health of your eardrum. Following this a hearing test to get an audiogram. This enables us to understand your hearing ability. We also check how well you hear speech in noise as this is often where many people have difficulties.

Following the assessment the audiologist will discuss the results with you as well as any technology which will help.Â

This is a great opportunity to try out the latest technology using one of our demo units.

You have ordered new hearing aids and your fitting day has arrived. We will program your new hearing aids to your specific audiogram results ensuring you feel completely comfortable with the sound.Â

If you are new to wearing hearing aids, we will gently build up the volume over the first few weeks to help you settle in at your own pace.Â

Every fitting includes two follow-ups as standard – this is so we can make any adjustments needed as you adjust to the new technology.
